Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about lighting your space with BulbAmerica.

How do I know which bulb base size I need?

The most common household base is the E26 (Medium) base. You can identify your base by measuring the diameter in millimeters; for example, an E26 base is 26mm wide. We recommend checking your existing bulb's markings or our online compatibility guide before ordering.

What is your shipping policy for fragile glass items?

We specialize in shipping delicate lighting. All orders are packed using industry-leading protective materials to ensure they arrive intact. We offer standard and expedited shipping options across the United States, with free shipping available on qualifying bulk orders.

What happens if my bulbs arrive damaged or broken?

While we take great care in packaging, glass is fragile. If your items arrive damaged, please contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage, and we will issue a replacement or refund immediately at no extra cost.

Can I return bulbs if they don't fit my fixture?

Yes, we offer a 30-day return policy for most unused items in their original packaging. Please note that certain specialty or clearance items may be final sale. You can initiate a return through our online portal to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Do you offer wholesale or bulk discounts for contractors?

Absolutely. BulbAmerica provides tiered pricing and dedicated account management for contractors, property managers, and business owners. Please visit our Professional Accounts page to apply for tax-exempt status and volume-based discounts.

Are your LED bulbs compatible with traditional dimmer switches?

Not all LED bulbs are dimmable. Please check the product specifications for the 'Dimmable' label. For the best performance, we recommend using LED-compatible ELV (Electronic Low Voltage) dimmers to prevent flickering or humming.
